Heineken International Regatta at Palmas del Mar Yacht Club. Thanks to all the 40 riders that attended this 3 day freestyle event! 2010 World Championship Corpus Christi
Over 45 riders from 15 counties attended the 2010 Kite Course Racing World Championships in Corpus Christi ,Texas. Organized by Neils from NJS Kiteboards and the Corpus Christi Yacht Club. Day one, we did 6 races in winds from 8 -35 kts! Race 1 and 2 everybody was riding on their 12-13 meter kites 15-18kts Race 2 and 3 we all changed to the 9-10 meter kites, so now is about 25kts+ Race 4 and 5 the wind picked up to 35kts+ so we took the 6-9m kites!, these where the most exiting races with everybody overpowered and hitting 30kts on the downwind on super nasty shop!! it was suicide!
